What is Microblading?
It is at a minimum a 2 step process. You come for the initial procedure and then 4-6 weeks after healing you come for a touch-up. Aftercare is essential. That means protecting freshly bladed brows from all moisture–no sweaty workouts or washing your face with water. Some patients experience itching and redness during the first week. Brows will look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade 40% after healing. Aftercare ointments are provided during your first appointment. But overall they look great right away and you will not have to hide!
"Microblading is a form of tattoo where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair-like strokes are drawn with the tool to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Even though it's not as deep as a regular tattoo, it's still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin. Depending on skin and lifestyle the results last from 1-2 years, before needing a full touch-up.
